Maxy’s EPIC Parma (on Glenhuntly Rd)

Ok So this is by far the most EPIC parma I’ve come to know.
Finally, a proper Parma Experience!

Walk into this restaurant and you will instantly realise that the menu’s mean business!
Big amounts of meaty items with slightly high pricing but once you see the food, you understand, you are enlightened… it all makes sense…

The food comes out on a silver platter bigger than your torso area.
The parma tastes amazing!

The Chicken is succulent, tasty and you get 3x parmas worth…
The Cheese…
The Sauce…
The Chips!!! Finally no parma cardinal rules broken.  Good quantity, on the side (not under your parma breaking all the parma-laws)

You even get 3x salad types on your platter.

I can’t recomend a better place to eat your parma than Maxy’s.
Atmosphere is cheesey but awesome with good lighting and quite hilarious staff that have a smile.  They sure know they are serving meat eaters, that’s all I have to say :)

Mrs Parmas

Hey fellas…

Finally made it down to that all glorious place with a logo that looks like an old lady holding her…. parma -_-
Was absolutely awesome but very quiet when I ran down with friends after a good ol’ win at VCAT (we won!)

The range of parmas and beers was exceptional, I was going to order a Parma’Geddon but figured it’s best to go Original/Traditional so we can get a decent understanding of the Parma competition outside the Thursday senate hearings.

First up, the BBQ Parma!BBQ Parma

Ok so I’m going to post this, been around 6 months in the making but finally… here it is!

Truth is, I didn’t like Mrs Parmas!
It was over-priced, the parma was too soggy and there wasn’t enough chips for all to share.
To top it off, it felt like the parma was soaked through a big vat of lard which made eating it a bit too heavy for me and writing this post 6 months later, I still think hmmm maybe I Won’t go back!

OH THE PARMANITY!

Today’s Parma was incredible as well as pretty full on. We were joined by ex Senator Parker as well as a musical guest. They were great. Senator Gardynyr is going for the 100 Pint Club and is now on #6. If he finishes he gets his name on a plaque in the pub.

Here is a scene from last week’s Episode of Parma Thursday:

The Farewell Parma – The Loss of 3 Parmasinians

After many a Thursday of fine parma dining we bid adieu to Senators Chukes, Parker, and Gallacher. Goodbye dear friends. You will be missed.

Parma Thursday 08.07.2010

This week was by far the most controversial Parma Thursday to date. With Nick away the Senate is tearing itself apart with back stabbing and conspiracies. It’s acting like the Australian government. There is a call for parmistice next week.

Parma Thursday 01.07.2010

Do we really have to vote anymore? Elephant and Wheelbarrow is dead isn’t it?

There was a gloomy presence in the pub today as the Senate sat in silence, slowly picking at their parmas. With Nick being gone the Parma’s don’t taste as good as they used to. Lannen slowly raised his camera phone to take a picture of his parma to post but dropped it followed by a slouch and heavy sigh. Why bother? Why bother.
